I’m Artem Varnitsin, an Environment and Prop 3D Artist with a background that’s a little different from most — I spent 12 years working as a commercial photographer before moving into the world of 3D.
That experience shaped the way I see everything I create. Years of composing shots, working with light, texture, and mood, and telling stories through imagery now feed directly into my 3D work. I don’t just build assets — I think about how they’ll be seen, how they’ll feel, and how they’ll support the bigger visual narrative.
Today, I specialize in the full production pipeline for game-ready assets, creating environments and props that are both visually strong and technically solid. I’m comfortable across hard-surface and organic modeling, with deep experience in polygon modeling, SubD, and CAD workflows. From PBR material creation to performance optimization and clean in-engine integration, I focus on delivering assets that look great and work flawlessly in real-time projects.
Before 3D, my photography career spanned a wide range of commercial themes — from lifestyle and diversity to fitness and women’s health — with my work used by brands around the world. That foundation sharpened my eye for detail and storytelling, qualities I bring into every 3D scene and prop I create today.
I love collaborating with both technical and creative teams, turning ideas into polished, production-ready results from concept all the way to final deployment.
